Honoring the 100th Anniversary of the True Love Sailboat
The True Love 100th Year Sail-a-bration is a one-time heritage event commemorating the centennial anniversary of the True Love, a beloved and iconic sailboat synonymous with summer on Seneca Lake and the Watkins Glen waterfront.
The weekend-long celebration will highlight the region’s maritime history and lake culture through a family-friendly, free public festival centered on Seneca Lake and the Village harbor. Programming will include live music, a classic and historic sailboat show, free public tours of the True Love, guided harbor walking tours focused on the history of Seneca Lake, local vendors, family entertainment, and a sunset movie in the park.
The signature attraction will be a classic and historic sailboat regatta along the south end of Seneca Lake on Saturday. Be sure to check below for the full details and timeline!

Friday September 25, 2026
5pm: Sailboats open for observation
5-6pm: Lucky Hare Happy Hour
5pm: Live Music: Uncle Joe and Renee
7pm: Movie in the Park: High Society (1956), featuring the True Love
Saturday September 26, 2026
10am: Opening Ceremony. A word from the current owner, Terry Stewart. All classic boats are available for viewing.
12pm: Schuyler County Historical Society Water History Walking Tour (Seneca Lake: Transportation Superhighway) with True Love Dockside Tour.
1pm: Classic Sailboat Regatta
3pm: History of the True Love: A Panel Discussion with previous True Love Owners and their Stories
4pm: Schuyler County Historical Society Water History Walking Tour (Seneca Lake: Transportation Superhighway) with True Love Dockside Tour.
4pm: Lucky Hare Brewing Company Seneca Lake Barrel Beer Pull
